I'm happy you're still progressing with the project even with your pivot. I seriously look forward to Catus Shack. Glad to hear that you are forcing yourself to pace this project to avoid burnout.
Not sure if you will have side-characters, I mean like customers or something in the episodes. But if you need VAs then hit me up since I know some talented people!
Sorry for the slow reply but that animation is really funny and i'm glad you can still find the efforts to make animations again.
Also for that stickmen business fan sequel i said i was making then because of schoolwork bundling with the fact that last month i had to get a new hard drive but i didn't archived the animation so it's basically gone. Sorry that i couldn't show that animation but i hope i can return to it somehow because i still find the script funny.
Cactus Shack looks insanely promising. And if I were to know that there were positions for voice acting, I would have instantly signed up. Not only is this a project I would love to be on board with, but I am also very passionate in voice acting myself
(even though I don't have a fully kitted out studio or mic lol)
I can't wait to see what this show brings in the future, and any of your other projects you could look forward to making eventually.
Dropping it all in one go is a great way to keep my attention imo. I have had seasons that spanned years with a slow trickle (albeit yet HQ ass output) but by the next release I have completely forgotten the plot.
If you still want to grab the hype, have a think about staggering the releases instead of all on the same day - maybe a once a week?
2D animation, now that sounds awesome, I can't wait for the return of the king. Out of all the creators on the internet, you are by far the most generous youtuber on the planet. Its like you're a real person compare to others on the web. (I just hope my words stay true, unless you do something bad lol)
look I'm just be caution about how to not see big creators as your homies on the internet as 2024 has shown many of them to be bad and creepy people.
But I'm getting of topic here, I'm happy you have may found your inter peace with your creativity now. It gets me wondering if I can raise my project of the grounds for others to see.
is there a way to some my fanart to you, like on discord or something idk, just asking honestly.
Thank you! I try to make it a point that I only do this for the fun of making things instead of using content to gain something from other people. It's hard to explain but you can tell when some YouTubers are a business and others are real.
Also feel free to email the art at https://wavetro.net/contact, or just dropping an imgur.com link right here in the comments! I generally avoid letting people add me on Discord for safety reasons
oh ok thank you, I'll share it via email later this week, just be prepare for a paragraph explain what am I doing with Andy(spoiler its the journey he ever dream of except with...trauma, hardship, and losing one self purpose)
I wasn't able to comment on the previous newsletter (because I forgot like an idiot), but I'm still glad you're able to funnel your creativity into something you feel passion for doing.
On a side note, thanks for making me laugh lol. Even though we don't know what the future holds, I was still pretty entertained by the interactions between the characters.
How's the switch to 2D been? Any inconvieniences? Anything you learned. I don't know much about the art process, so I'm kinda curious.
CHECK IT OUT I GOT MY 1D ANIMATION HERE IT'S AWESOME: ________________
It looks awesome but you might not be able to see it very well. Trust me it's really cool
Jokes aside, thanks for commenting! It's been surprisingly tricky making 50 different 2D pieces to assemble into one character so that all the joints move properly, but it's still a thousand times easier than dealing with 3D. In other words, 2D cheapo puppetry animation is surprisingly still trickier than I thought, but far easier to deal with. I might talk about this more next month!

If 2D doesn't work out. try 1D frfr.
